FirstClass Server - Information


Important Notice:
As of June 2017, Common World Inc. will no longer be selling or supporting FirstClass. Starting July 2017, our service contracts will not support FirstClass Servers or any FirstClass Solution. We will be pushing new communication software and solutions for our clients and customers that best fit their needs. We have already started writing plans and roadmaps for our current RA Customers that will replace FirstClass with other software and services.

FirstClass Core Server

It integrates personal email and productivity applications, group collaboration, Internet Services, Voice Services, and Directory Synchronization Services with other communications products, mobile services, application development, and database extensions tools. It is an integrated set of applications designed to securely connect people and resources via any Internet-accessible device. The extent to which the power of FirstClass is used on a given site is limited only by your vision of communication.

The FirstClass Core server will run on a Windows Server, Apple Mac OS X, and Linux. The FirstClass server runs identically on all three platforms.

The FirstClass Client
121009_94058_4.pngThe FC Client provides tremendous choice at the user level with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux "thin client" software options available as well as a range of advanced and simple web user interfaces to fit a wide variety of browser-based environments. The FirstClass Client works the same way on all supported operating systems, so there are no "second-class" users. Mobile Devices
121009_94141_6.jpgThere is extensive support for mobile devices. FirstClass SyncServices allows the 'lion share' of mobile devices to sync to FirstClass for email, calendars, and contacts.
