The FirstClass Mobile Cleint for iPhone and iPod Touch it out!
We are pleased to announce that the long-awaited FirstClass Mobile for iPhone application has been approved by Apple and is now available for download at the App Store! Download from the iTunes App Store.
FirstClass is an amazing communication product - this mobile client is such a huge bonus and helps users of FirstClass communicate better. Im so happy its on my iPhone.
With FirstClass Mobile, iPhone and iPod touch users can now take FirstClass with them on the road and have all of the power of FirstClass in the palm of their hands delivering a true anytime, anywhere mobile collaboration experience.
With FirstClass Mobile, you will be able to use your iPhone or iPod touch to:
- Create, view, reply to, forward, and delete email from your FirstClass account
- Play voice messages encoded in MP3 format
- View and access containers on your FirstClass Desktop
- Read, forward, reply to, and check history of messages in FirstClass Conferences
- Access a list of bookmarks created in FirstClass
- View documents created in the FirstClass client
- View files uploaded to FirstClass, including images, text files, MS Office, iWork and PDFs
- Search and quick filter for FirstClass content
- Instant Messaging
- Save viewed image files to the photo libarary
- Push Notification
- Calendar and Contact via Sync (or hidden app features)
Calendar and Contacts Syncing:
FirstClass calendars and contacts are accessible on the iPhone via built-in support for ActiveSync® synchronization with FirstClass Sync Services. See below on how to configure your iPhone for calendar and contact synchronization using ActiveSync. (see more informaion on this below)

Setting up FirstClass Mobile on Your iPhone
Once you have downloaded FirstClass Mobile from the App Store, please follow the simple instructions below to configure your iPhone or iPod touch
1. Tap on the FirstClass icon on your device. All other icons on this screenshot are the default Apple icons in their default locations.
2. Fill in your Server name, User ID and Password. This is the same address you enter on your desktop computer. If you do not know your server name please contact your administrator.
The top arrow button will allow you to pick between multiple saved server logins if you've configured more than one.
3. The bottom "i" button leads you to the following screen:
This screen allows you to set a few basic configuration options.
